Boring Tuesday

Hi evfurbody. There's not much going on around the homestead today. Grandma's still not feeling well. There's still soooo much snow and cold, that we can't go for walkies or have yard zoomies. Yesterday, there was still so much ice that Dad didn't go to work. We all huddled on the sofa and watched the Olympics and other boring shows on the lookie box. When we got up this morning, it was still snowing! We're sorry that we asked for snow now. It's getting old!!

Moms and Dad are going to somebody named Marty's house for some kind of Gra party tonight. We've never heard of dis, so we'll have to find out exactly what kind party dis is!! We'll report back.

  1. Yea we kinda understand the phrase "Be careful what ya wish for"...Cause we wished upon a tiny snowflake and got 5 big snows....But hey at least there are snow days and the pawrents get to stay home!

  6. I hope that O.S. & X's. mom changes her mind about the snow dance. My mom just shoveled 6.5 MORE inches off my deck and we have another inch or so to come... ON TOP of all we have. My yard looks just like YOURS. I feel your pain. No NEW places to PUT IT!!
Now about that Gra thingy.... my mom and dad once went to that New Orleans place for what they call Mardi Gra... My mom had 3 hurricanes on Bourbon St.. She still shows people the beads that she EARNED!!! I guess she did some kind of trick or something. Hope your mom and dad have fun at their party. What are you guys gonna do while they're gone???

  7. I feel for you - that is just waaaaaay too much snow!!!

That picture reminded me of last year when I had to shovel a path for my little chi's to do their business in the back yard. The snow was taller than they are! I thought the snow would never melt but fortunately it eventually did!

It's been really chilly here which I'm not happy about but really, I can't complain when I see how much worse others have it.

Hope your Grandma starts feeling better soon and that your parents have a wonderful time at their party!

  10. We keep hearing about this Mardi Gra stuff here too. All we care about is that they remember to give us lots of that good food too.
