Our Family and Planning

Haroo efurone!! Things are really busy around my house lately. Dad is working a new job, so Moms is getting used to his new schedule. Also, I've been furry busy planning my date with Sallie. I'm not going to give away many of the details, but I can tell you it's going to be exotic!!

Efurone has asked about our large family. I'm going to use a post that we did way back, when we first started our bloggie. We only had a handful of readers at the time, so we thought we would repost it. So, meet our family!!

As you guys know, we have a LARGE family. Moms and Dad are believers in animal adoption and choose to give LOTS of animals a forever home. So, I thought I'd introduce you to my doggie brothers and sisters. I'll concentrate on the kitties tomorrow. So here goes:

This is my sister Shiloh. Shiloh is 10 years old. She's been with Moms and Dad for 7 years. They adopted her from our local shelter. Shiloh is a Jack Russell/Dachshund mix.

Next is my sister Fergie. Fergie is 7 years old. She's been with Moms and Dad for 4 years. She was adopted from the same shelter. She is a Red Heeler/Shepherd mix.

This is my sister, Trixie. For years, Moms and Dad referred to her as the "spare dog". She was a neighbor's dog, that for some reason, decided one day that she wanted to stay at our house. Her pawrents didn't care and let her stay with us. About a year ago, they moved off, and Trixie was left behind. So, she's a full fledged member of the family now. Trixie is probably around 11 years old. She's a Pomeranian mix.

We also have a new sister, Daisy. Moms and Dad refer to Daisy as the "Grumpy Old Lady Dog". Daisy is nearly 13, and she likes to grumble about things. She originally came as a foster, but Moms and Dad decided to let her live the rest of her life with us. Daisy is a Rat Terrier.

Of course, you guys know Jack. Jack came with Daisy to live at our house. He was originally just supposed to be a foster too, but he and Dad REALLY like each other, so he got to stay and live with us. Jack is 9 years old, and he is a Rat Terrier too.

Here's a group picture of us. This was made, before Jack and Daisy came to live with us.

Left to Right:
Molly, Shiloh, Fergie, Shingo, Indiana, and Moms.

Trixie was outside running around.

So that's all of our doggie brothers and sisters. Tomorrow we'll start on our kitty brothers and sisters. WHEW!! Moms and Dad sure are busy!

  1. I am sooo glad that you did the family Review. Sometimes we have new readers and they like to know about our past.
I can NOT wait for your big date!!!

  2. Great post! Have fun on your date!

  3. You guys have such a lovely, big family! We a furry jealous as it is just the two of us along with the hoomans. We would love to have more brothers and sisters to play with. Mom said she'll work on it and that the next fur addition will be a rescue or adoption.

We can't wait to hear all about the big date!

    Chihuahua kisses,
    The Munchkins

  4. Our town only lets you have 4 dogs at a time. :-( That is part of the reason mom can't foster. That and many would come and never leave! :-)

    Mr. Nubbin'

  5. I'm with Boomer on that too...dad says mum can't foster eithers cuz they would never ever leaves and cuz mum gets waaaaaay to attatched to anything that has a heartbeat.
Howevers, we commend you on taking this wonderful doggies in and loving them unconditionally.

  6. Thank you for the re-introducing us to your furry family because I was a bit confused as to who was who especially since your blog title is "Feisty Three" and I counted 4 dogs in your title so now I completely feel updated! What a sweet family and how sweet of you to adopt so many dogs...I am sure they are grateful for you!

  7. You guys have such a great family!! Mom has always said that she wanted to get into fostering too, butt Dad won't let her because no one would ever leave our house, BOL! Butt she is still trying to work on Dad to let us get another adopted sister!

Waggles & Chi kisses, Chewy & Lilibell

  8. What a wonderful pack you have Indiana!! We bet there is never a dull moment!!

    Smileys & Snuggles!

    Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
    Sierra Rose

  10. It is always nice to do a review of the family when it gets to be as big as yours. We loved learning all about each of you again. Mom says she wouldn't want to have your food bill or vet bill, but she is very awed by your devotion and love of all pups and kitties.

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

  11. Thanks fur the furamily history!

Woo are one bunch of lukhky pups!

    Khyra & Khousin Merdie

  12. Thanks for the family history, I think I'm pretty well caught up now!

I love those sweet rat terriers! I had a fox terrier and she was a grumpy old lady too sometimes.

I felt bad for poor Trixie that her old pawrents didn't care that she came to live with you and that they left without her but then I realized she's probably much happier with you.

I'm with everyone else. I don't think I could ever be a foster parent as I'd grow attached to them too easily and couldn't give them up.

  13. What a wonderful pack you have! The more the merrier, I say!

  14. Your family is wonderful and all the more so becuase you were all adopted from a shelter or were foster dogs, well done to your pawrents!
Wags, Dip Bridge and Elliot xx
    ps, have a fun date

  15. What a great family! I luved meeting everybuddy. It sure looks like you haves a lotta fun in your house. But why is your bloggie called the "Fiesty Three" and not the "Fiesty 8" (if I counted right)?

I can't waits to meet the kittehs!

Oh, and thank you for fostering. Mom thinks she could do it but it's really dad that just gets too attached.
