Weekend Racing

First off, we apologize for not being around much lately. Since Moms has lots of classes, we have a hard time convincing her to type for us. Since summer is coming, it should get better soon (Right Moms??) In the next couple of weeks, we hope to get by efurone's bloggie and have a good visit. We miss you all!

This past weekend, Moms and a couple members of her swim team ran another 5k. Moms hadn't run since the first of December, but she ended up doing really well! She and her girls had a GREAT time and are already planning for their next run in May. This run was to benefit Special Kids, an organization near and dear to Mom's heart. She has run a lot of races for them, but this was the first race of their very own. Here are some shots from Saturday.

Moms Is Running for the Kids!

Moms wanted a chance to post some information. She's going to do another one of those 5 kay runs again this Saturday. She's racing for a very special cause called Special Kids. She's collecting green papers for these kids and their care. If you guys could spread the word, we would appreciate it furry much!

Hi everyone!

I am a member of Team A.S.K. (Athletes for Special Kids)! Team ASK is a Christian endurance training program developed to help adults and children achieve their athletic goals while changing lives for children receiving services at Special Kids. Special Kids provides skilled nursing care, therapy, and assistance to children regardless of their ability to pay.

My 5K race, (The Fenton Payne & Fred 5K) is this coming Saturday. I'm am racing personally for a child named Reeyan, who receives services from Special Kids.



My fundraising goal has been set and I am hoping that you will support my efforts by making a donation. I know that times are tight, but even just a dollar would help!
